It was an emotional moment for 4 time Olympian Cleopatra Borel after securing her spot in the finals of the Women’s Shot Put.
Cleopatra competed in Group A of the qualifying round, improving on each attempt. Throwing 16.94m and 17.78m and in her first two attempts. Her final throw that sealed the deal for Borel with an improved distance of 18.20m.
