Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Foundation recently invested TT$100,000 to officially partner with the T&T Olympic Committee (TTOC) with Rio 2016 Olympics just around the corner.
A cheque presentation recently took place between the two bodies as Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Foundation extended their association with the TTOC. Since 2010, the Scotiabank Foundation has partnered with the TTOC, contributing to the administration of various programmes.
Part of the proceeds given to the TTOC by the foundation will go towards sponsoring the Annual Olympic Youth Camp. The Olympic Youth Camp targets national junior athletes with the aim of preserving Trinidad and Tobago’s sporting and Olympic culture and helping create a brighter future for these young athletes.
Scotiabank continues to invest in the development of the nation’s youths and recently pumped a significant amount of money into the annual Kiddy Cricket programme, which has been a tremendous success for over a decade, producing future West Indies stars.
